Glendale Engineering has recently invested heavily in new computer-controlled machining equipment. 
Here we follow the progress of the steel stock through the machining, fabrication and finishing areas.

Conveyors align the steel stock and carry in into the SES 1500 shot blasting machine (max width 1500mm)

More conveyors then carry the cleaned steel over to the Peddinghaus 1250/9 which cuts it to length.....

.....then drills it, before transporting it to the assembly area.  All this is computer controlled.....

 ....and can be programmed from a drawing office computer.              For sheet steel a Peddinghaus FGB1500

plasma and gas plate cutter is used.   It also drills, taps and countersinks, and is also computer controlled.

In the assembly area, the components are welded together and the work cleaned up with an angle grinder....

....before the completed product is spray-painted and loaded onto our vehicles for transport.
