Three Steel Framed Houses in Spittal, Northumberland.
Plot 1 Steel Framed Houses in Spittal, Northumberland. This week has seen the first steel framed house start to take shape in the coastal town of Spittal, Northumberland. The overall development will encompass three similar structures, with over 13 Tonnes of steelwork forming the backbone of each property. All steelwork is being manufactured locally by us in our Wooler factory with installation being carried out by our site team and plant. Plots 2 and 3 to follow..
Update 1/3/23: The site team are making outstanding progress on these three plots at Spittal, having completed the second plot today. Our Roto 360 forklift making lightwork of the installation, coming equipped with a long-nosed winch giving it the versatility of a crane, but only utilising half the footprint. We will see the final plot take shape this week bringing our works to a close, but it has been a pleasure working alongside GMC Building Contractors once again.
Update 6/3/23: The third and final plot is now complete, bringing an end to our works in Spittal. The whole project was delivered, installed, grouted, and handed over to the client in a little over two weeks using our own site teams and plant. It has been a pleasure working alongside a local customer, and we look forward to securing more projects with them in the future!
